Even though most everywhere had canceled events and parades and whatnot… thanks to the COVID virus… we made the most of this past weekend! We soaked up the sun poolside, grilled up some yummy BBQ, lit off some fireworks and Mason loved his first sparkler experience! Even though we couldnโt be with family and friends we still managed to make it special!๐ฅ
To be a mother of a son is one of the most important things you can do to change the world. Raise them to respect women, raise them to stand up for others, raise them to be kind. Raising my little gentleman is no easy task but I wouldnโt change anything for the world. My little boy made me a mommy and forever changed my world. Feeling eternally blessed to be a mom and to be growing another little human.
What I have learned along the way is that being a mother is learning about the ๐ฆ๐ง๐ฅ๐๐ก๐๐ง๐๐ฆ you didnโt know you had, and dealing with ๐๐๐๐ฅ๐ฆ you didnโt know existed! Motherhood is an incredible experience and journey, pulling out all the emotions and feelings in me I never even knew existed prior to having children!
I am a bit emotional today as this will be the very last Motherโs Day with my first born, the little one who made me a mom. Itโs a bitter sweet feeling knowing that in just a few short months I will no longer have my first born all to my self! Iโm completely soaking in all these precious moments with him as much as possible before my other little love makes his debut in a few short months!
