⭐️ Happy 4th of July ⭐️

Little M and I had so much fun decorating heart shaped, star spangled banner Fourth of July sugar cookies yesterday! I’m seriously taking in all these special little moments with my first born before baby number 2 arrives! ❤️🤍💙

Even though most everywhere has canceled events and parades and whatnot… thanks to the COVID virus… we still are making the most of this weekend, by making and decorating star spangled banner cookies, grilling up some ribs, lighting off fireworks and hanging by the pool quarantine style!

𝐇𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨 𝟑𝟐 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐬

Recently, I have had a few people ask me, “so are you going to try for a girl next”… this question makes me uncomfortable but I know it comes from a good place. Honestly what people don’t know and understand is that I did have gender disappointment at the beginning. Over time I learned to fall completely in love with this little guy. Loved hearing hearing his little heartbeat for the first time, feeling the dancing he does, the hiccups he has at times and how he respond to my voice by giving me little kicks is a beautiful and indescribable bond I am forever fortunate to have.

See what I have learned is this, 𝙂𝙤𝙙 𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙡𝙮 𝙜𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙨 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙚𝙭𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙡𝙮 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙙 𝙞𝙣 𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙡𝙚.

I feel beyond blessed and excited to be having another boy who is going to best friends with his older brother, Mason and loved beyond measure! Only 7 weeks to go until we meet our baby boy! 🤍

First Outing…

This past weekend I broke out of the house to head to my favorite store @target 🎯 No joke it feels like years since I have shopped at a physical store… this is so much more satisfying then online shopping.

My hubby watched our little guy while mama got some much needed retail therapy in! Oh Target I have missed you! 🤍

Mother’s Day

Mother’s Day

To be a mother of a son is one of the most important things you can do to change the world. Raise them to respect women, raise them to stand up for others, raise them to be kind. Raising my little gentleman is no easy task but I wouldn’t change anything for the world. My little boy made me a mommy and forever changed my world. Feeling eternally blessed to be a mom and to be growing another little human.

What I have learned along the way is that being a mother is learning about the 𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗚𝗧𝗛𝗦 you didn’t know you had, and dealing with 𝗙𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗦 you didn’t know existed! Motherhood is an incredible experience and journey, pulling out all the emotions and feelings in me I never even knew existed prior to having children!

𝗛𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝘂𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲. 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝗹𝘀𝗲 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀.

I am a bit emotional today as this will be the very last Mother’s Day with my first born, the little one who made me a mom. It’s a bitter sweet feeling knowing that in just a few short months I will no longer have my first born all to my self! I’m completely soaking in all these precious moments with him as much as possible before my other little love makes his debut in a few short months!

I hope all you beautiful moms, step-moms, animal moms, moms to be and grandma’s had a very 𝗛𝗮𝗽𝗽𝘆 𝗠𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆! 🌸🌿

Banana Bunny Pancakes

I felt the Easter spirit hit me a little this morning. Despite it feeling difficult to get into the spirit in general with a global pandemic, being pregnant and having a two year old son I felt like satisfying my pregnancy cravings and getting creative with breakfast this morning!

I made these with Birch Benders Paleo pancake mix! These are a staple in our household. All I did was add a few punches of powdered cinnamon, a dash of vanilla extract and an almond milk & water mixture. You mix it all up with the Birch Benders Paleo pancake mix and it will certainly not disappoint! I add slices of banana once you pour it into the pan but you can add anything into this chocolate pieces, raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, etc.. the possibilities are endless!

These were a huge hit and your kids are surely going to love them! Give them a try and let me know how it works out!
